Welcome to Fantastic Weekly to follow our development process on our upcoming game: FANTASTIC ENERGY.

This week has been busy to say the least! Most of the team is now back from holidays and everyone are working really hard with development and design.
So let's get to it then!
GAME DESIGN
We bumped again into feedback that we have heard before, and this time we decided to just do something about it. The thing in the game is that unless the player knows what they are supposed to do, it doesn't make much sense.
"I don't know what I am supposed to do and why I'm doing this."
SO we created a tutorial for the game when the player starts. To that we wanted to add also a story to give the player a reason for their actions.
Fantastic Energy isn't really story driven type of game, but we decided to make it so that the story supports the game play, but isn't too deep.

The global warming is threatening all life on Earth and a coalition of energy monsters is calling for help.
However all the energy monsters are not convinced that humans are worthy of the planet and need to be convinced to join the player in their quest. Players must convince the monsters in a battle that they are worthy of the quest they have embarked on.
Each monster that the player encounters and wins in a glorious battle, will join by moving into the player's base and becoming an ally. By winning the monsters, the player becomes worthy in their eyes and they agree to help.
From there they will add to the player's powers and help save the world from global warming.
The player must build a base of operations and contribute to stopping global warming and saving the world.
Please feel free to give feedback on this story!
To this story we are also building a xp system that supports the rpg-side of the game. We decided to really tie all sides of the game together so that all actions are supporting another area as well, e.g. If player is successful in saving energy, it gives more damage to their energyweapons in the monsterfight. :)
CODE
Tipi:
I removed AR now completely from the game. It didn't feel like it's really doing anything there, only making the game feel more clumsy and unnecessarily difficult to play. :D Well it's gone now and after adding the new graphics for shield system and surroundings I must say that I am really really happy with the end result! The graphics created by Noora are absolutely awesome! <3

GRAPHICS
Noora:
This week I made some quick graphics for the story aspect that we are planning on bringing to the game. I also continued the tutorial of the game since the game can be a bit confusing without any guidance. We plan on implementing the tutorial for the next update so currently it’s on the top of my priority list.
Joviaal:
This week I designed few new monsters and did more work with a top secret project.
